ok so, we know this guy/girl was very shady to begin with, they had a key fob, and they knew what they were doing, meaning they could be going to all lengths to hide everything, maybe try looking in all the seats again, i know you don't want to go into it again but maybe there is going to be something else, because you didn't check the other side, and it may seem very likely that there is invisible writing but knowing that he might be thinking you were gonna do that he would've taken the journal when he broke in, i think there is something that this guy is expecting you to find out everything, he might be waiting for you to go into his traps, because what woods said is that he had to be 2 steps ahead, and considering that he is kept the lab that blue base used to be away from people, everything could be part of a HUGE crime, or some kind of bad juju, but please Matt whatever you do, be careful and think before you make your next move, because if this guy is ahead of the curb right now... he might have you in check
RedditMatt, you should black light the vehicle. Looking for that journal/safe/vial logo in or outside of the car. Or try black lighting the symbol to see if it has any text. A theory that my mother (age 42) came up with: Since someone (Syphus) recently broke into the car maybe he opened up the seat properly and took out the original pages and replaced them with blank ones. Typically you can fold the back of the seat down and access the interior through a zipper or Velcro closure. Also what about the note page in the visor. Is that still there? Please explore the back of the Mountaineer more. I feel there may be something else hidden there due to the amount of damage that was caused. And finally could the night vision binoculars have any clues?
Redditok so I just want to say that I might be completely wrong but what if you need to pour a special sort of chemical or liquid in order to see the writing on the journal. It sounds crazy but I do have something to back it up. We know that the safe had three liquids in it. We also know that at least one of them has been used and the other two were taken by the person who broke in. We also know that the car belongs to or used to belong to Syphus and it was probably him who completely wrecked the car. So why wouldn't he take the journal with him since he probably knew where it was. The only two reasons I can think of are that either he was running out of time and he had to leave or he knew that Matthias and the team don't have or know about the materials required to read the journal. Another thing is that the only place that we have seen that symbol that is on the journal is obviously on the journal and on the safe and vials suggesting that they all are connected. But then again I could be completely wrong. I just thought of this and wanted to share it.
RedditYes I know I'm late don't berate me in the comments. So I saw a post someone made, it was a render of the snake symbol that keeps showing up. So first things first, the timeline is way off but fellow redditors have cleared it for us. A major event in this timeline is the safe in the ceiling. You're probably thinking,"Wouldn't it be the safe in the wall?". Well no, the safe in the vent gave us major clues to whatever is going on. The vent safe was the first one where we first saw that symbol. After Sam dropped the safe, we saw that there is a flammable chemical inside. Next video we see that it is a highly corrosive and burned a hole in the floor. During the break in we see Syphus use the injection gun. Now Matt I have to disagree with you and other redditors saying he put it somewhere in his head, but it is clear he injected his arm. When Matt found the open safe we again saw that symbol. We know Syphus had access to the car, if he knew that the book was in the seat he would have already taken it. The car being trashed was obviously a warning to Hi5 to not go further in their investigations. Some would say don't go down the rabbit hole, but "we're in the endgame now". The book is going to lead somewhere else and then more strings to follow from there. There is still the box of keys, the TS5 key, the re-keying kit, and the lock picking kit. As of writing this I made a mini-theory within this theory. What if the re-keying kit was used to practice lock-picking. If its all connected than this mini-theory isn't too far fetched. Ok back to mega theory. What if all the things collected so far are needed to finish this. The TS5 can lead to cash box(I looked it up), and the other keys could lead to doors, more safes, or cars. If they lead to doors or safes, then the lock picking kit could have been a last resort. I have a sick feeling Syphus is on a mission, or is being payed by someone. Syphus is dangerous and we know nothing about him. The government keeps coming up in these videos, the car and the Pegasus Program. This could be leading back to experimental government technology or tests. Matt if you read this please I beg of you, if this starts getting out of hand you have to drop this. There is something way bigger going on that none of us know nothing about. Remember, you already made strike 1. That means 2 left. If this puts any of the crew or anyone you know in danger, drop it immediately. Though I fear your in too deep now. RedditOk, I did some digging. sort of. I was looking through comments on the journal video and saw one that said Syhpus had a channel called Syphus 1 the leader. I searched the channel and watched the four videos posted on the channel. One is titled "The Mystery of Hi5 Studios". This vid, is a trailer made with the app IMovie. At the end, there are credits. In said credits is the word Syphus followed by different numbers. This could mean that Syphus isn't just a person. It is a group, a gang, a cult. This cult does not use names. It uses the name of the cult followed by the number in which you joined. For example, if you were the 2nd member you would be Syphus 2. Therefore, Syphus 590 (the username of the working key fob) would be the 590th member of Syphus. Also, if you look at the other videos, it refers to syphus as we, further implying that it's a group. Syphus 1 is the leader who started syphus. This leader used the mass mind control device (which was discovered in the documents from the car). To mind control the members into submission. However, throughout the videos it does say Syphus Corporation, so it is most likely a company. A company with viles of acid and large needles sounds like a lab to me. And, unless I'm mistaken, matt once said that the building was previously owned by a company with lab equipment. Is it possible that the company in the building before Hi5 was Syphus Corporation. If Syphus Corporation were a company, why label your employees as syphus with a number. Now the answer to that is, they're not employees. This part is going to be a little far fetched, but at this point, it might not be as crazy as it should be. If they're not employees what could they be, well . . . clones. Now, before you click away, think about it. Syphus is a cult and/or company that has had a bunch of mysterious craziness discovered by matt and the gang, from the mind control, to the giant needle, to the acid. All that seemed pretty impossible before it happened, so I wouldn't be surprised if cloning was also involved in this syphus business. And as for Syphus 1, well, he is probably the original. The one who got cloned. He may have even produced the tech. Now I know this seems far fetched and you don't have to believe it if you don't want to, but just take it into consideration. Try to elaborate on any of these ideas if you can.
RedditSo Matt mentions in the video today that they probably should take a black light to it and see if there is any hidden messages in the book. I completely agree but a black light may not be the only/best way to reveal the secrets that book is hiding. You could also try heating the pages very lightly, obviously don’t just take an open flame to it but you could hold it about 6 inches above a small flame and if there is some sort of invisible ink on the page it should darken before any of the paper can burn. Alternatively, if you are too worried about destroying possible evidence of what this Syphus person is doing, you could use sitric acid and go all National Treasure on it. If you juice a lemon and then use Q-tips to apply a small amount of citric acid on the paper it should do the trick. A black light could work but if it did you would have to rewrite everything in the book so you could see it all at once or use a black light every time. Just a thought
RedditMatt, i think that you should look through every page of the journal thoroughly and see if there is any hidden texts or clues in between the pages, like in the book, "Fablehaven". Also, you should for sure look with a UV light or the lemon juice trick, on the papers and on the leather of the journal. If there is no clues on the paper, there might be something on the leather. RedditTheories: 1) When the guy trashed the car he actually carefully took the seat apart and took the real contents of the journal out and replaced it with the blank one to throw you guys off. 2) This guy is just someone who used to work for the company that was there before Hi5 and he was helping them make drugs. He got hooked on the drugs (explaining the super elaborate keys in the wall/ceiling stuff) and was working on stealing them. The company either moved faster than he thought they would or he wasn't able to get the stuff he has managed to hide away.
RedditThe journal is blank but that particular model has a USB DROP DRIVE! You need a USB to USB cord and a computer or laptop that IS NOT connected to your servers or internet! Make sure that your not connected to either one when you do the hookup. This will prevent any type of firewall/data breach!
